Survey Question: Biggest challenge facing NC Republicans in 2008

Our grassroots survey asked the question: What do you think is the biggest challenge facing North Carolina Republicans in 2008?

The results:

Communicating a clear conservative message - 48.0%

Turning out our voters - 27.6%

Recruiting good candidates - 23.4%

Responding to the Democrats' attacks - 0.9%

Other items included in participants' comments included:
- Raising the funds to permit our good candidates to compete effectively against the money that flows to Democrats in this state because of their long-term control of government
